Registered to Ride

Since I've been cycling, I've never been particularly fond of paying for organized rides. I always figured I was spending so much money already on gear that paying to ride was too much.
Something has changed this year. Maybe it was the fun of RAGBRAI that got me- this year I'm registered for two organized rides. I'm especially looking forward to the Seattle ride. Matt and Gray are going to fly out and we'll all spend a week in Portland at the end of the ride.

The Wild Goose Chase- April 27th Cambridge, MD.
When Spring springs in the East, there's nothing like heading out for a bike ride on quiet back roads winding their way through exquisite scenery. We thought it would be even more fun to ride with other women. 300 of them, to be exact. Thus was the inaugural Wild Goose Chase born - a one day ride to benefit Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in in Cambridge, Maryland on the Eastern Shore, a place of extraordinary beauty and critical habitat.

If you are interested in riding with a team for a non-profit organization based in the Seattle area (www.bbyd.org) - please contact me through the website. We are looking for new riders to join the team to enjoy this one-day, two-day ride.

Hope to hear from you soon!
