Improv Everywhere

So in a nutshell, this group Improv Everywhere does these events where you don't know what you're going to be doing necessarily until you show up, or in this case, until you hit play and start listening to the mp3 file we all put on our ipods/players. We then followed many commands and had a glorious time improving everywhere. I am absolutely going to do another event, it was a ton of fun.

I thought I was ridiculously early- the event didn't start until 3:15 and I was catching the 1:00 ferry, but here were some other participants. We were instructed to download the mp3 file, wear a blue, red, yellow or green shirt, bring an uninflated balloon and an umbrella.

This one cracks me up- the little life-vest guy underneath the two girls- he's wearing a red shirt like he's in on it too.

We all kind of congregated on these porches- this is right before we were to begin.

I didn't do any video on how the event went- I'll post links to the official site for that when they have their stuff up- there were lots of photogs and videographers.

The ferry ride on the way back was just as much fun as the event. Between chanting and singing and rocking the boat, we were rolling with laughter.

Watch until about 30 seconds in. People are actually chanting, "We got the bear!" in our rivalry between the two sides of the ferry. The bear made an appearance on our side and people went crazy!
