Save the Syllables

Watching some god-awful pseudo-reality tonight, one "contestant" intended to say:
"It's going to be rough, it's going to be hard, and I don't know how I'm going to take it".
What he actually said was:
"It's gohn be rough, it's gohn be hard, I don't know how I'm gohn take it."
Presto magico, half a dozen syllables saved. So Matt and I started to think of a proper word for this guy; one who saves syllables-
Syllabicitian?
Syllabeconomist? nah, too many syllables
Syllabologist?
Well, I don't know what the word is yet, but I do know one thing- James Brown is one.
